Electric Saab 9-3 Project with rear wheel drive

Here is an interesting ongoing project in Trollhättan. The electric vehicle association in Sweden has a local division in Trollhättan(Elfir) and they are building a Electric Saab 9-3 project. The car is built with a Panasonic electric motor, and a cobalt NiMh battery, the battery is only for testing, a new battery is coming. Worth to notice is that the car is rear wheel drived, as i understand it, the plan s to find another motor and make it a 4WD.
